This policy describes information handled through the LanChic Boutique website and inquiries you send to us about our merchandise, personal styling, and color analysis services.

Information you choose to share

When you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any details you include, such as your name, phone number, preferred appointment times, or questions about a piece.

Our inquiry and color analysis buttons open a draft in your email service. You choose whether to send it. The personal styling form prepares a message in your browser for you to copy and send; it does not submit your entries to a website database.

How we use your information

We use your information to answer questions, discuss merchandise availability, arrange appointments, and provide services you request.

We save inquiry email addresses in our prospective-customer list, including when you have not made a purchase. This list is not used for regular newsletters or ongoing marketing campaigns, but we may email you occasional special offers from LanChic Boutique. These offers are promotional messages.

Your email choices

You can ask us to stop special-offer emails at any time. Reply to an offer with “Unsubscribe” or email lana@LanChicBoutique.com. We will honor opt-out requests within 10 business days. You can still contact us for help, and we may respond to your requests or communicate about an appointment or purchase.

We do not sell your contact information

We do not sell or rent inquiry email addresses or give our contact list to other businesses for their own marketing.

Services used to host our website and handle email may process information as needed to provide those services. This is separate from giving another business our mailing list for its own use. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

How long we keep it

Inquiry email addresses are retained on an ongoing basis; we do not automatically delete them after a set period. You may contact Lana to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. Some records may need to be retained for business or legal reasons. We may retain a minimal record of an opt-out request to help ensure that special-offer emails stop.

Website services and tracking

The current website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies in its own code. It does not track your activity across other websites or change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal.

Our web fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve them, which involves technical information such as your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy. Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, adds a performance-measurement script that measures connection and page-load times. Hosting services may also record technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, and access times for operation and security. See GoDaddy’s explanation of hosting performance metrics.

Links to Google Maps, Gmail, and Outlook open external services when you choose to use them. Those services have their own privacy practices.

Appointments and payments

The website currently starts an email conversation about appointments. It does not reserve a time or collect payment-card details. Please do not send payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial information by email. We will update this policy if online booking or payments are added.
